We are in the Research Institute for Electronic Science building. The institute is commonly called "Denshiken". It is located near by North 20 Gate of the Sapporo campus of Hokkaido University. Our offices are on the forth floor and numbered 04 108-1 and 04 108-2.

From New Chitose International Airport to Japan Railway Sapporo Station
  Japan Railway has an express train called "Rapid Airport" , which is one of the most convenient ways to get here. It takes approximately 37 minutes from the airport to Sapporo station. The adult fare is 1,070 yen. Children in grade school travel for a half of adults fare. Young children 6 and under are not charged. Please refer to Japan Railway website for detailed information about the fares.
   

From JR Sapporo Station to Research Institute for Electronic Science
Shuttle Bus Hokkaido University runs a shuttle bus every 10 to 15 minutes from the main gate of the Sapporo campus to Research Institute for Electronic Science. Please go to the link below to find more about the shuttle service.

Subway Taking a subway is another option to get here. Take a subway line called Namboku-Sen, which appears in green color. Get off at Kita 18-jo station and walk to Research Institute for Electronic Science. It takes about 15 minutes. Please refer to North Campus Map below.
