タイトル Development of a genetically encoded voltage indicator through modification of cytoplasmic linker region and its application in resolving neuronal activities
概要

Voltage imaging can complement fundamental limitations of conventional electrophysiology. Cellular membrane potential change can be imaged simultaneously from multiple regions of interest. By using a genetically encoded voltage indicator, one can image voltage fluctuation from only a targeted cell type. We recently developed Bongwoori-R3 and Bongwoori-Pos6 by modifying cytoplasmic linker region of their predecessor, Bongwoori. In this talk, we will talk about how the new voltage indicators were developed, what their voltage-sensing properties are and what neuronal activities they can resolve.
